How To Lose Your Money In 10 Seconds

You’re not this careless person.

Pose: Had I known.

Let’s act like you don’t care about red flags, warnings and appeals to look out for yourself and your money.

That’s probably not you but let’s assume it is.

This is what that version of you would do.

1. You’d believe a text message that isn’t from us.

Even though we’ve never sent you information about your account by text message, you’d follow the instructions in a random SMS and get into trouble.

The fact: For now, we send credit and debit alerts as push notifications and we send account statements by email.

2. You’d assume that we give loans by email, text message or through social media.

A stranger on the internet would convince you to pay some money to take a loan, even though that’s not normal at all and we haven’t even launched loans, known as Kuda Overdrafts, publicly.

The fact: Kuda Overdrafts will be given automatically to anyone who uses their upgraded Kuda account regularly. We’ll let you know when you can get an overdraft strictly through the app.

3. You’d believe that we’re on Telegram.

Even though the channel name says ‘Kuda Investments’, which is clearly not the same as Kuda Microfinance Bank, you’d join it and put yourself in danger.

The fact: We’re not on Telegram. No, it’s not us.

The entire message.

4. You’d see our logo in a strange place and ignore the warning signs.

You already know anyone can download a logo off the internet and use it, but you’d assume we’re behind it even though you could easily reach out to us to confirm.

The fact: Asking questions is always better than being scammed.

5. You’d share your password, sign-in PIN, card PIN, transaction PIN, Pay ID or answers to your security questions.

Internet Stranger №2 will ask you for any of your account details and you’d eagerly share it even though you know that’s the worst move anyone can make.

The fact: We’ll never ask you for your password, sign-in PIN, card PIN or CVV, transaction PIN, Pay ID or answers to your security questions. That’s your business, strictly, not anyone else’s.

But you’re not this person.

You care about your safety and so do we.

When in doubt about anything relating to your account, chat with us on the app, tweet us or send a message to help@kudabank.com.

Good things that are meant for you won’t pass you by just because you’re being careful and wise.

Stay safe. 💜
